DODGE CHALLENGER SRT® HELLCAT XR

The Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat has undoubtably advanced to the status of a modern day legend. The bold and brawny features of the unique body design pay homage to the golden muscle car era of the 60‘s and back up the fierce performance caged inside. Believers in the Challenger‘s true track prowess, AEC set out to unlock the Challenger Hellcat‘s full potential. As a result AEC proudly presents a special edition Challenger limited to 50 units, that pushes the limits of road legal drag and race track performance: The AEC Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat XR.

UNLEASHED: DRIVETRAIN PERFROMANCE TUNING

AEC hooks up the 2,4 L twin-screw supercharger with a performance pulley and a smaller drive ratio, spinning it well past its factory rpm. Combined with an aptly reprogrammed ECU, this tuning cranks out 161 more HP and an extra 110 NM of torque out of the 6,2 L cast-iron HEMI® block. The 888 peak HP and 999 NM are transferred to the rear wheels via the Challenger XR’s ZF Torqueflite® 8-gear automatic transmission with an optimized set-up. This tops out the limited edition Hellcat XR at electronically limited 320 km/h.

A TIGHTER GRIP FOR A SUPERIOR RIDE AND EXTREME PERFORMANCE

To transfer its brutal power and straight line speed to windy roads, tight corners and the race track, the AEC Hellcat XR derives its performance tuned suspension, brakes and tires from industry-leading manufacturers. Harness years of racing experience of household names like Pirelli and Brembo to keep the furious powertrain and menacing muscle car body under control at all times.

PERFORMANCE CHASSIS: TAME THE TEMPERAMENT

The AEC Hellcat XR’s performance goes beyond just tearing up airstrips and European highways. Together with 305/35ZR20 Pirelli P-Zero high performance tires, the Hellcat XR’s Brembo performance brake system stops the powerhouse on a dime, if called upon. 4-piston brakes tame the rear wheels, 6-piston brake calipers bite into 390×34 mm slotted and vented two-piece rotors in the front and keep you in control at all speeds. To maintain high speeds and balance around the tightest corners, an optional AEC Competition Suspension Kit with Racing Coilovers replaces the standard suspension. Mechanically adjustable on all four wheels, the AEC Competition Suspension lets you custom tune the Challenger XR’s ride height, weight distribution and stiffness to your personal preference.

The specified fuel consumption and emission data have been determined according to the measurement procedures prescribed by law. Since 1st September 2017, certain new vehicles are already being individual-approved according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Starting on September 1st 2018, the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) will be replaced by the WLTP in stages. Owing to the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions measured according to the WLTP will, in many cases, be higher than those measured according to the NEDC. They are intended exclusively as a means of comparison between different vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (e.g. add-on parts, different tyre formats, etc.) may change the relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, and, in conjunction with weather and traffic conditions and individual driving style, may affect fuel consumption, electrical power consumption, CO2 emissions and the performance figures for the vehicle.
